![]() Definitely, it’s admirable that the developers have built the track roads precisely enough that it completely matches the navigation. As I kept playing the game more while listening to his navigation, though, I learned what he meant more quickly than I would’ve ever expected. WRC 9’s biggest miracle for me is the fact that I knew nothing about what the rally navigator’s details meant. During a race, you are so concentrated on your driving that you can barely pay attention to anything other than the road, and barely listen to anything other than the rally navigator’s voice. I mean, there’s nothing about visuals in WRC 9 that are jaw-dropping as it lacks a realistic look when it comes to the cockpit view of the car, but it’s not that important. When it comes to graphics, WRC 9 doesn’t look like a late 8th-gen title, but it’s still a good looking game. ![]() "For the fans of the official rally championship tournament, WRC 9 is likely a must-play title." You want to be the champion? You need to beat your own records again and again. Simply put, there’s no encounter between you and an AI-controlled opponent. So, there is an unintentional scripted AI system in here. It’s the overall time that determines the winner. You aren’t supposed to overtake the rivals directly on the road. As you may know, rally is a race against time. It’s you who needs to master his/her own skills to beat the opponents. WRC 9 never gets easier, not even on the lowest difficulty levels. You will fail dozens of times, but you will also learn dozens of tricks to avoid failure as well. If you know nothing about Rally and its rules, it doesn’t matter. With F1 2020, this year has already been a favorite one for me in the case of racing simulations, and with WRC 9, it’s even better now. The reason why I think of WRC 9 as one of the greatest rally simulations of this year is the fact that it teaches you how cruel a rally tournament can be when a very small mistake costs you a lot. It’s you who needs to master his/her own skills to beat the opponents." So here we are.again." WRC 9 never gets easier, not even on the lowest difficulty levels. Makes me velopers are responding to their customers, and their customers mostly want an arcade. Why are they even in the game? Or at least, why are they an option in realistic setting? And in competitions?Īlso, everyone says they play without assists but only full clubs are ones with assists on and non assist clubs are empty or nowhere to be found. ABS, Traction, active Diff settings have all been banned from WRC for almost 2 decades. Each car is accurately detailed and faithfully reproduced, providing a comprehensive resource for racing fans and car enthusiasts alike. It also doesn't help that car setup options are also not at all realistic. Dive into our extensive collection of 14 WRC 8 cars from 4 different car groups. Running without aids doesn't make it a lot different, but it does help a little bit, so at least play it like it was meant to be played and turn all that stuff off. As I was saying before they made physics better but AI is too easy and damage too forgiving. I wouldn't make it to the end of the rally in WRC 10 playing this way. The default setup typically has it really high for oversteer on gravel rallies. ![]() One thing you can try is lowering the rear anti-roll bar on the car setup. It gets even worse with the team built up to the point of all damage being fixed at service locations, and this is on realistic mode with perma damage on. Makes sense since I feel like I was able to anticipate the cars movements and directional changes better in 8. ![]() Like other comments, I find it pretty inconsistent across the rallies where something like Sweden is challenging but most rallies you can beat AI easily. I find that WRC 10 at 110-120% difficulty is equal to WRCG at 150%. I couldn't play on 150% difficulty in WRC 10. Yes, it's too easy, especially compared to WRC 10 difficulty.
